Very comfortable, clean, basic hotel in Florence. Nothing fancy, but met our needs very well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful; helping me carry my luggage up the front entrance stairs and in giving directions to local sights. The room was charmingly decorated and the bed very comfortable.
The choice of menu at breakfast was not large, but it was certainly adequate.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in Florence. The breakfast was nice with very fresh pastries, with a wide range of food.

The hotel staff was very accommodating and really wanted to help make sure your stay in Florence was great
I wish there could have been more pillows on the bed. Also, the shower/bath did not have a shower curtain making it hard to take a shower.

Very pleasant receptionists, and a comfortable, home-like environment. The common sitting area is liberally sprinkled with many interesting books, including several on Tuscan culture. The hotel is very conveniently located at a 5min walk from Firenze S.M.N. station.
Breakfast could have been better, perhaps with a bit more variety.

Convenient location, amazing staff, beautiful decor, quite place, value - quality, sufficient breakfast - I will definitely stay again and recommend to my friends.
No elevator - have to "climb" with a bag upstairs and down.

Original design of the hotel: old and modern style in the same time. Special non-formal service. Nice breakfast.

Couples looking for a great stay!
The staff was friendly and very capable! Breakfast was diverse, with amazing fresh coffee and a variety of pastries to choose from. It started our days off right.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but still affordable for what we got.

Excellent location - very convenient for the train station and tourist sites and in a lively area with lots of bars and restaurants.
We hadn't realised that breakfast wasn't included. It was probably our fault, but we didn't notice until we got the email out when we were travelling on the train from Turin. Breakfast was an extra 10 euros, but there's a decent size Conad supermarket nearby so we bought croissants, fruit juice etc and ate in our room. Another downer is that the hotel is on the 1st floor with no lift. We did know about this, but it's not a pleasant experience to carry your luggage up the stairs. I am not responding to the next question about whether I would recommend this hotel because it would depend very much on who I was advising as the hotel is unsuitable for elderly or disabled people.
